The best purchase the company has made in all these years. Up to now, we have bought 2000 pieces. The quality is very reliable and the material is durable and dirty. Most of the chairs from six years ago are as good as new. And with the official 12-year warranty, the few that break down have been repaired.
About the World Chair
Compared with Aeron, there is a big gap in quality and durability (sure enough, you get what you pay for). The damage rate of armrest and mesh surface is quite serious. I don’t know if it is the problem of the batch we bought.
About Contessa Okamura
Used to be an alternative to Aeron (cheaper after all…) We had a batch. There is no problem with the sitting feeling of this chair, the adjustment of the reclining feedback force is not as much as Aeron, not as fine, but it is much more convenient to adjust. But the basic mesh chair we chose for the office had one significant drawback compared to the Aeron — sticky hair and dirt resistance. It is also black, and the comparison with the original Aeron is very conspicuous in the office after a long time, so we did not continue to purchase.
It is worth mentioning that I use Contessa in my office and home, because it looks more elegant with leather and headrest, but to be honest, leather is not as breathable and comfortable as Aeron’s mesh, and headrest has no other functions except sleeping and appearance… (I never sleep in a chair, though)

Moreover, Aeron’s function is not easy to adjust, so it is especially not suitable for meeting rooms, or 24-hour shift customer service and other chairs that need to be replaced.
